Why Attend Zion United Church of Christ?

At Zion, we celebrate together our successes and comfort each other through struggles on life's journey.  We feed the hungry (the spiritually hungry, the emotionally hungry, and the physically hungry).  We sing and make a joyful noise to God.  We gather together to laugh and mourn. We pray and study scripture. We provide a holy space to ask questions and wrestle with doubt. We strive to welcome all people as brothers and sisters in Christ (regardless of their political affiliation, physical and mental ability, economic status, or sexual orientation). We seek to follow Jesus in increasing love for both God and neighbor.

  • Angela Farmer,   “I love being with the people of Zion.”
  • Roy Silber,   “Inspirational Sermons!”
  • Marcie Silber,  “Friends feel like family and, the presence of Jesus is truly felt.”
  • Steve and Dorothy Boehner,  “Zion changed my life.”
  • Jackie Grant, “Totally accepted “as is!” ”
  • Kay Stevens, “We are one BIG FAMILY here at ZION!”
  • William Casebeer, age 9 “I like the DONUTS!”

Whoever you are, wherever you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!
