We live in a fast-paced and fragmented world. People suffer crises and tragedies, but they often don't have caregivers they can count on. Family members and friends may be scattered across the continent. Communities rarely offer the support they once did. So when a crisis or challenge hits, many people have no one to turn to and end up facing it alone. Here at Zion Church, we have joined with hundreds of congregations in providing "Christ's care for people through people." With Stephen Ministry, people suffering a crisis or tragedy can get the one-on-one care they need by a trained Stephen Minister. Each Stephen Minister receives 50 hours of initial training and then will be assigned one care receiver at a time to meet with on a weekly basis.

Zion Church has six commissioned Stephen Ministers. Our Stephen Ministers provide one-on-one care to hurting people in and around our congregation and within the community. Our trained Stephen Ministers provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care and support to people experiencing grief, divorce, cancer, job loss, loneliness, disability, relocation, and other life difficulties. Your Stephen Ministers are:

Steve Boehner (Men)

Linda Hall (Women)

Alice Kueckels (Women)

Roy Silber (Men)

Gail Snow (Women)

Janet Winter (Women)
