Zion offers Sunday School, with a Christ based curriculum, year-round, to children ages 5 and up on Sundays at 10:00am during the Worship Service.

Zion’s Sunday School for Children embodies the principles of our mission statement including “lovingly embracing our neighbor” & “humbly welcoming the stranger” & “gentle encouraging the seeker,” as well as “teaching & training believers.” While the placement of children in our Sunday School is generally based on public school grade levels, we also take into consideration parental prefernces & input as to where they wish their child placed as well as the child's emotional, spiritual, & relational style of learning. Children have the opportunity to participate in our Kidz Choir which perform in our sanctuary/worship space 3-4 times per year.

Zion's Children's Sunday School lovingly invites the children & young adults of our neighborhood & community to attend Sunday School. We have something for every age child. Our teachers are attentive to the whole child's well-being (their emotional, spiritual & relational growth). Our teachers demonstrate love, care & attention to all children equally! It is the aim of our teachers to encourage a real, growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

The 'Delight in God' (DIGs) includes children in the Lower Elementary school grades of K, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grades.

The 'Jesus And Me' (JAMs) group includes children in the Upper Elemtary school grades of 4th, 5th, & 6th grades.

Confirmation gathers young adults who are enrolled in 7th & 8th grades. This course is team taught by our Lead Pastor & our Teaching Pastor. Instruction, fellowship, learning & fun are all included in this course that leads to an affirmation of baptism, a profession of faith in Jesus Christ, and membership in Zion Church. Zion Youth is a gathering of young people from 8th grade through High School. The group is led by our Youth Director. Participants receive encouragement & teaching from the Bible about what it means to be a Christian or a person seeking faith in Christ in today's post-modern world. Opportunities to serve & engage in mission are encouraged as important Christian values. Zion Youth participate in a variety of events such as overnight lock-ins, lazer tag events, Christian rock concerts, and other venues for fun, fellowship & learning.
